Yearlong transitions

IgniteNation was created to enhance communication and accountability, while supporting our growing network of mentors. Ignite’s social network is a safe and relevant way to develop relationships, build community and share ideas across the country. In between Mentor-to-Mentee (M2M) sessions and trainings, a customized school page will help keep the staff and students up to date on events, trainings and lessons.  Schools will be assigned a college intern to support their mentor teams.  Ignite will keep the flame burning, by aligning an alumni mentor with a current school.  These college mentors support the summer executive camps and all day trainings for yearlong Ignite schools.  This approach is rewarding and a perfect fit for both sides.  For years, many students around the country have been asking for ways to stay connected with their Ignite family.

In addition to the customized school page, each mentor can create an individual profile and have access to other mentors nationwide.  The National section will communicate fresh ideas, share stories and results, and host video lesson plans.  Web seminars for executive mentors and site-based teams will be showcased with training tips and blackboard space. These online lessons are fun and supportive of various learning styles.

IgniteNation is an integral piece of what we do, providing members with a way to be a part of something bigger than themselves and stay connected to a network of lifelong mentors.  The IgniteNation website is a vehicle for thousands inspiring positive change.
