Yearlong transitions

In order to maximize contact and content, mentors facilitate regular lessons with their mentees throughout the year. Each training and activity is tailored to best meet the goals and needs of your school. The activities work as a vehicle to a meaningful discussion lead by the mentors in small groups.

Mentor Ownership:

Through the Ignite process, your students will be provided a safe and supportive environment for their ideas, strategies, leadership and service. The Ignite staff will first train your executive mentors each month on a customized lesson. The executive mentors will co-facilitate the training sessions with the Ignite staff. Mentors will then deliver this lesson to their mentees at their next session. All lessons include an opening, a purpose driven, hands-on activity, discussion and reflection time, teacher evaluation and feedback forms.
